Wow! Sweet Healers!
You are all doing magnificent work! I am so proud of each one of you.
Now we have our second Healapalooza coming up—again in Espanola!
For this course, my plan is to find Healees from this Espanola Ashram Community for you all to work with. So, you will not be working on each other, unless you want to in your spare time. This way, everyone will get a chance to observe every session, and we will have a thorough discussion after each session. I am so happy that you all will be such seasoned healers by then.
Since you all have already been here and so know the ropes—how to get here, what meals and lodging are like and so on, it all should be pretty simple for you!
This year, we will explore the Japanese style soaking spa in the mountains above Santa Fe called 10,000 Waves. More information on that later. https://tenthousandwaves.com/spa/rates-discounts/discounts
Since we have fewer healers now, and we don't need to have as many demonstration sessions because you have learned so much, our schedule has much more ease to it, and our time together will be fewer days. In our discussions, we will begin to sense the more subtle layers that will move us into our next courses for the year--Subtle Anatomy and Physical Anatomy.

So, here is the Scoop!
Again, we will be at Hacienda de Guru Ram Das, Espanola, NM, staying in the Gold House, while practicing in the Yoga Center across the courtyard called "Hacienda Yoga" that is across from the Gold House in the "Old Ladies Camp" area. It is off Shady Lane, on the dirt road called Shakti Lane.
Please print out the schedule that is to the right of the photo on this page. It will be updated as we need to. This year, we will need 5 sadhana leaders. So, please send me your preference of day, with your planned yoga set and meditation--preferably to sense the subtle layers very soon.
Carpool if you can to and from the Albuquerque, NM airport to our place at the Espanola, NM ashram--about a 1 1/2 hr. drive. Probably in the fall, airline prices may drop, so that would be a good time to make your airline and rental car reservations. If everyone tried to get into Albuquerque by noon on Jan. 8, you could share the cost of renting cars to get to Espanola. Then see what you can do about getting your return flight at about 10 AM or a little later on Tues., Jan. 14. Plan to leave Espanola at least 3 hours ahead of your return flight time, perhaps at 7 AM.
On your arrival day, you will need to find your own lunch, so you can either get food in Albuquerque (we like the Indian Food & Grocery that has a lovely buffet and take-out at 6501-B Wyoming Ave. NE), or pick up something in Santa Fe, or you can wait until you are in Espanola. See locations at www.SoulAnswer.com/new_mexico.html . My favorite restaurant in Espanola is La Cocina, 415 W Santa Clara Bridge Rd, Española, NM 87532. Or the Sopapilla Factory, 7 W Gutierrez, Pojaque, NM 87506, which is half way between Santa Fe and Espanola is good, and even has a Khalsa menu. Dinner is at the Gold House at 5:30 PM.

PREPARATION, DATES, PAYMENTS, ETC.
Dec. 1. 2019 or before, $500 due. It is non-refundable after Dec 1 because we will have to start paying for our course expenses then. Instructional fees have been covered by your regular monthly payments. But now this payment will cover the cost of your catered meals, casual breakfast buffet, unending yogi tea, fruit snacks (if you need something more than fruit, please bring it), rental of the wonderful Yoga Center, plus materials. I am sorry that I would not be able to lend you any of that amount.
You can pay that $500 in one lump here.
Or if you would rather automatically pay $100 per month for 5 months on the first of each month, starting August 1, please let me know right away so that I can set it up for you. . That would be charged to the same credit card that you currently use for your monthly payments that occur between the 10th and 15th of each month. Or we can put that on a different card. Personally, I believe this would be the easiest method for you.
Please bring money for your basic admission to the Japanese style soaking and treatment spa--$30 for unlimited time in the large general soaking tub. Or we may decide to get our own group tub, which may cost a little more. Plus cover cost of any extra treatments that you would like. See more at TenThousandWaves.com Also, for either lunch or dinner that day, either at Ten Thousand Waves or perhaps at The Tea House on Canyon Rd. of art galleries in Santa Fe, for car rental/gas, lunch on your arrival day Jan. 8 and departure day Jan. 14, perhaps some little shopping, etc.
If you would like to stay in NM to tour around this amazing area, please do that either before or after our course. You can extend your reservations at the Gold House if you like. But you must be in the course each day.
Make your own room reservations at the historic Gold House and pay for them. Generally, you would be sharing rooms among 2 or 3 ladies. Charandayal Singh would be in the only single room, of course. See all about these accommodations at lyfrentals.com. So, please get your roommates together before you call Nirbhe Kaur at 505-927-8665. Ask for the Gold House, and tell her whether you would rather be in the "cooler zone" on the north wing, or the "warmer" zone on the south side of the house. If you would like the very cheapest unlisted rate, and are willing to share a queen bed in a room that also has 2 occupied single beds, you would be splitting the fee for that queen bed in that room that is listed for 3. If there is a need for more rooms than are available at the Gold House, we can find other accommodations nearby. Let me know.
DIRECTIONS: You will be staying at the Gold House in the "Old Ladies' Camp Area". From the Albuquerque Sunport, you will be traveling north from Albuquerque on I-25 for about an hour. Then either take the Relief Route Bypass, Rte. 599 around Santa Fe, (or you can go straight through Santa Fe, either on Cerillos Rd., or St. Francis Drive.) Then continue north to Espanola on Rte. 84/285, which extends straight north from St. Francis Dr. After 1/2 hour drive from Santa Fe, turn right at the stoplight on the Hwy. at the Dream Catcher Movie Theater onto Rte. 106/ Yogi Bhajan Hwy. In about 2 minutes, when you are passing Yogi Bhajan's Ranch on your left, turn right onto Shady Lane. Then very soon, make a left through the opening in the adobe wall to the Old Ladies' Camp area. On Google Maps, the Yoga Center is called “Hacienda Yoga.” You will be staying in the adobe/stucco "Gold House" on your left across from Hacienda Yoga. The combination to the lock on the Gold House door is 1211 and then turn the lock "thingie." Lots of travel information, including grocery stores and restaurants is at www.SoulAnswer.com/new_mexico.html . The combination to the door lock at the Yoga Center is 1605.
Everyone will be responsible for their own Karma Yoga to keep the course running for the whole group, such as: making Yogi Tea, keeping the yoga center kitchen and snacks in order, leading sadhana, arranging car-pool, oversee plans for our outing day—Ten Thousand Waves, oversee setting up for meals and clean-up, keeping the yoga center clean and picked up, everyone will clean the yoga center on the last afternoon, etc.
Bring your own non-spillable water bottle--no open cups or glasses of water, or plates or bowls of food, or fruit without a napkin, or crumbly food without a plate or napkin can be taken into the class room. Bring your own covered Yogi Tea mug that you will keep track of yourself.
Bring yoga clothes and mat/sheep skin, shawl or wrap for yoga (it can be quite chilly in the early morning), head covering, layers of warm clothing (it is below freezing at night, but maybe in the 40's Fahrenheit in the day; in Celsius that is -6 to 9 degrees, possibly some snow). I believe that the Gold House and the Yoga Center will be warm, but be sure to bring sweater, light jacket--layers, just in case. Bring a bathing suit for Ten Thousand Waves soaking spa, cover-up/robe, spa shoes, lock for locker there--or rent one there, extra towel if you like. Bring slide-off shoes for walking across the court yard and environs (we don't wear shoes in the Gold House or in the Yoga Center but please bring slippers or socks for these buildings). I wear long johns all winter-long every year. Maybe you will need snow boots, do bring walking shoes for walks/short hikes, dress-up clothes--whites for Lungar (lunch at the ashram) on Sunday. Bring nice casual clothes for classes that you would normally wear to do your healing sessions, and if you like, a set of less formal clothes for taking short walks or long runs here.
Bring any extra snacks that you might need. We will have fruit and yogi tea available all days.
BRING YOUR HAND-HELD RECORDER and plenty of batteries or recharger!
WEATHER--Of course there is no way that I personally can predict the weather! So, you will have to take responsibility for deciding what you need to pack. Here is a link to a long range weather forecast in Fahrenheit degrees: https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/espanolanm/87532/month/334610?monyr=1/01/2020 Ask Soul what you might need to pack.
Is there anyone who can bring their phone with their mantra play list and their BlueTooth speaker? If so, please let me know.
If you are prone to altitude sickness (we are at about 5,800 feet—mile high altitude), I would suggest that at least 2 weeks before you leave home, you begin taking daily supplements of Vitamin B Complex, and/or ChlorOxygen by Herbs, Etc. This formula is made in Santa Fe specially to prevent altitude sickness. And it would be a good idea to bring electrolytes such as Emergen-C as well. It is still quite dry here in the winter, so please do drink lots of water and yogi tea.
BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE REVIEWED EVERYTHING!
I am so looking forward to hugging and being with all of you for our sweet joining of hearts and next step of your blessed studies, Dear Healers!
Lots of Love,
From Santa Fe, drive north on US 285 for about
1/2 + hour. At the stop light on the southern edge of Espanola, you will see a Mitchel Movie Theater on the far right side.. Turn right onto Rt. 106, Yogi Bhajan Hwy. (Rt. 399 is the other side of Rt. 106). In less than a mile, make a right onto Shady Ln., then first left onto Shakti Lane. Go to the end. Hacienda Yoga is on the right, and the Gold House is on left.
